O.G.A for Aid was registered as an ippan shaddan houjin in 2011 and set up operations in Miyagi prefecture to provide emergency supplies to survivors of the triple disasters of 3.11 in Tohoku, Japan.
Four years on and 50 projects later the team of international volunteers + Minamisanriku-cho survivors registered Place To Grow as an NPO to continue providing emotional healing to survivors of natural disasters.
In Tohoku, Place to Grow is providing scattered communities a place and purpose to continue rebuilding by holding workshops and using art education and communication.
